Morbid Curiosity
Bring on anything medical history! Stories of lobotomy? Dope. Favorite plague? Bubonic (Obviously.) I have a deep (and perhaps morbid) curiousity for medical information and history. This is an ever-growing list of books I have sampled at least once in an effort to grapple with mortality, understand humanity and some of the heinous mistakes that have shaped the world to what it is today…

有声读物改变了我的生活。真的。他们让我重新ading again because if you know me, I am constantly on the move and always looking for a new project to take on so I really don't make a lot of time for myself to just sit down and relax. I am a self-proclaimed busy body. Access to reading in this way has changed the game for me. Find me in the kitchen making dinner, hiking Badger,…
I LOVED THIS BOOK. I cannot recommend this book enough. 100/10. One million stars.
OKAY! You do NOT have to be a sci-fi fan to enjoy this series! "The Murderbot Diaries" are FANTASTIC. I am not a huge sci-fi reader at all, but a friend recommended this series to me purely based on the narrator and central character. The robot is clever, always wanting to just watch his TV shows, and will have you laughing while immersed in an out-of-this-world landscape. I have not been able to stop myself from rushing through the series. This is book one in the series, and they are quick listens.
I want to give a trigger warning for this book. It covers some dark topics including sexual abuse and grooming. However, I really loved this book, and I enjoyed the narrator.
This was a pretty decent thriller in my opinion. I didn't see the ending coming, so that was a fun surprise. And, it takes place in Seattle!

Are We Human or Are We Dancers?
What makes us human? As a creative, I am extremely passionate about exploring the vulnerabilities of humankind and examining the sociopolitical barriers that, at times, prevent and/or hinder individuals from achieving their highest potential. It probably comes as no surprise to see my passions reflected in my book choices. Storytelling is the greatest vehicle to do so. Transform your…
