Board of Trustees
Mid-Columbia Libraries is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees appointed jointly by the Benton and Franklin County Commissioners. Board member terms are seven years. Board members serve without salary but are reimbursed for necessary travel expenses.
The Board is the policy-making body for the library district. It has the power to determine the rules and regulations governing library service and personnel as mandated by the library laws of the State of Washington. The officers consist of a board chair, vice-chair and secretary.

Meeting Information
Board meetings are scheduled on the third Tuesday of the month, starting at 5:30 pm. Special meetings and workshop sessions are also held as needed. Board meetings are generally held at the Keewaydin Park Library, 405 S. Dayton Street, Kennewick, WA. Please check the agendas for the specific schedule and meeting location.
Financial Information
Mid-Columbia Libraries' financial support comes from property taxes from unincorporated Benton and Franklin Counties, annexed cities of Kahlotus, Benton City, Connell, Kennewick, and Mesa, and from service contracts with the cities of Pasco, Othello and West Richland.
