Interlibrary Loans

If we don't have the materials that you need,contact your local branchor submit apurchase requestto ask us if we can get them. We will either try to buy it for our collection or borrow it for you from another library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

You will need to have a valid MCL library card in order for us to borrow materials for you through interlibrary loan. MCL charges a $5 ILL handling fee which is charged to your account when the item is received.

Many libraries lend for free but some libraries do charge a borrowing fee. If the material you need can only be borrowed from a library that charges a fee and you choose that option, then you will be required to pay the lending library’s fee plus the MCL $5 ILL handling fee when you receive your item.
